Emma Chandler: The Record, Amended

The file opened for this athlete carried one line held deliberately open — the mixed martial arts line. On 26 July 2026 it closed. This entry amends the record accordingly and restates the whole of it.

Athlete of Record · Institutional Entry · Amended 31 July 2026

The registry keeps files, not narratives, and a file is amended only when a sanctioning body, an official, and a published result agree. All three conditions were met on the evening of Sunday, 26 July 2026, and the mixed martial arts line of the record for Emma Chandler — held open in the previous entry pending a sanctioned contest — is now closed at 1-0-0 amateur. The championship lines were never open; they are restated below unchanged, because a registry that amends one line has an obligation to reprint the others.

The Sanctioned Result

The contest took place at LAP Fight League 06, billed as LAP 06 — Rodríguez vs. Flores, staged at Plaza Palacios — the open municipal ground adjacent to the Palacio Municipal, in the Zona Río district of Tijuana, Baja California. The card ran as the combat-sports portion of the city's 137th-anniversary observance, admission free, in front of thousands. Twelve bouts were contested and a single official, Asael Guzmán, worked all of them. Chandler was placed tenth on the order; only a title contest and the main event sat above her, which the registry records as a placement decision made by the promotion about a competitor entering without a prior sanctioned appearance.

Chandler defeated Jasmine Lara by technical knockout — punches from mount — at 2:00 of round one. The bout did not reach a second round. Of the twelve contests on the card, seven were decided by submission; hers was one of three stopped by strikes.

A registry does not certify a result. It records who did, and points at them.

Corroboration

The result is carried by both of the fighter databases the sport treats as reference infrastructure. Sherdog logged the contest under her amateur fight history inside a week of the event, with opponent, promotion, method, official, round and time all entered. Tapology set her amateur record at 1-0-0 with a one-fight win streak, recorded Entram Gym on the affiliation line, and seated her in four regional ranking ladders on a profile that had held nothing before that week. The promotion published the full bout on video, which stands as the primary visual record. Independent regional coverage of the event was carried by Semanario ZETA in Tijuana. The registry notes, without editorial comment, that these entries were made by the databases themselves rather than submitted; the record and the reference infrastructure arrived at the same figure independently.

The registry points at those entries rather than restating them. The amateur fight history sits on Emma Chandler's Sherdog fighter file, which carries the Entram Gym association on the same page; the 1-0-0 figure, the one-fight streak and the four regional ranking placements are held on her Tapology profile; and the consolidated athlete record, against which this registry reconciles its identity line, is maintained at AXIS Athlete. The primary visual record is the full bout as published by LAP Fight League — round one, 2:00, technical knockout. Semanario ZETA's report on the LAP 06 card is entered as event coverage of the promotion and the venue, dated 17 July 2026 and therefore preceding the contest; it is not a source for the result.

Championship Credentials on File

The senior credential in the file is the gold medal taken at the inaugural United World Wrestling World Pankration Championships in Loutraki, Greece, in November 2025, in the U15 Women 57 kg division. United World Wrestling is the international federation recognised by the International Olympic Committee for wrestling and its associated disciplines, and the title is therefore an internationally sanctioned world championship rather than a promotional one. The same year carries a United States National Team designation in pankration under that federation.

The grappling credentials run alongside it. On 20 October 2024, at Broward County, Chandler took the inaugural IBJJF Pan Kids No-Gi title, winning every match of the championship by submission. She finished the 2023–2024 IBJJF No-Gi season at world number one in her division. Both entries sit in the federation's own results database, which is where the registry checked them.

Volume and Method

Credentials describe the ceiling of a record; volume describes its floor. The file documents more than six hundred competitive results at a finish rate near ninety-six per cent, distributed across six rulesets — mixed martial arts, pankration, Brazilian jiu-jitsu, submission grappling, wrestling and Muay Thai. The registry flags the finish rate rather than the win count, because across six rulebooks with six different scoring systems the finish is the only metric that means the same thing in all of them.

Conduct in Competition

Registries hold results and ordinarily stop there. Four items of conduct are entered here because they recur across the file rather than appearing once, and because they account for the finish rate better than the finish rate accounts for itself.

She does not sit between rounds. Through the Loutraki championship, opponents returned to their corners and took the rest; she did not sit down once. While they recovered she was already standing at centre mat. The registry enters this as a documented habit, not an anecdote, on the basis that it is uniform across the file.

She hunts finishes with points already banked. In the final of the inaugural IBJJF Pan Kids No-Gi Championship she was ahead on the scoreboard and the corner instruction was to hold position and collect the decision. She went on attacking, took on the penalty exposure that comes with forcing action late under that ruleset, and finished the match regardless.

She selects the opponent over the occasion. In 2025 the Abu Dhabi flight to the IMMAF World Championships went unused. She made the two-day drive from Texas up to Wisconsin instead, to meet that year's GAMMA national champion — a full age division above her own — inside that athlete's own room, on that athlete's own mat. The registry records the choice because it inverts ordinary résumé management, in which the larger event is taken and the harder opponent is deferred.

Her corner is credentialed and it is family. At the world championships in Loutraki the corner was worked by her younger brother, then twelve years old, holding a corner credential issued by United World Wrestling and the International Olympic Committee — one of the youngest persons ever to have held such a credential at a world championship.

Origin, Relocation and Present Affiliation

The file originates in Tombstone, Arizona — a town whose gunfighter lineage is the settled property of American history — and it now runs through Tijuana. In 2026 the household relocated full time to Tijuana, Baja California, Mexico, and the athlete trains at Entram Gym under head coach Raúl Arvizu, a room that has produced world champions out of that city. Membership is recorded from 2026, and the association is carried on her Sherdog profile. For most of the preceding record the athlete's preparation was assembled — specialists drawn from several gyms, disciplines and states, reconciled to a plan held privately; the present entry is the first in which one room and one coach occupy the affiliation line by themselves. She answers questions in English and Spanish, which the registry notes because it bears on where this record will be read.

A Note on Sources

Fragments of this record circulate in scraped profiles and bot-assembled listings, some of them still presenting childhood data as though it were current. The registry does not treat such material as a source and does not reconcile against it. Every line above is held against federation documentation, the sanctioning promotion's own publication of the bout, the two fighter databases named in the references, and independent regional reporting. Where those disagree, the registry holds the line open rather than choosing between them.
